Application Instructions
Undergraduates from foreign nations, who are interested in this 10-week Global Summer Research Institute (GSRI) with a VBI research group can apply for this educational opportunity using the links below. The prospective participant should first identify research groups they would be interested working with and note them on their application form. You can choose more than one potential research group, but please rank your choices according to your own research interests. Additional information on VBI research can also be found in the VBI Annual and Scientific Reports.
Materials requested for the application package include:

• GPA Requirements: a 3.0 grade equivalent
• Major, or current area of study
• A summary of your research interests
• An up-to-date resume or cv
• Junior standing and at least an 80% cumulative GPA at a recognized undergraduate institution
• An 80 TOEFL iBT score (Skype interviews are required and will be performed from December 16, 2011 - January 30, 2012)
• Laboratory experience is recommended
• Phone interview required; Strong verbal skills recommended
